CONCEPT OF PHOTONEWZEALANDAfter a brief spell living in Colorado, Rob realised that no other NZ photo library was adapting to the internet age, which led to the conception of photonewzealand over a few beers during the mid-late 1990’s. In good Kiwi style, photonewzealand started in a garage in Huntsbury, Christchurch. |

2010 CANTERBURY EARTHQUAKEOn 4 September 2010, the first earthquake hit the South Island. Also known as the Darfield earthquake, it caused widespread damage in Christchurch. We were fortunate not to lose access to our offices and servers and were able to minimise interruption to service. Our staff were able to deal with their private matters without fear of losing their jobs.
